Shared Horizons – Opening Conference
The opening of Shared Horizons, the Morocco–US Student Research & Innovation Program, took place on October 28, 2025, at the University of New England Tangier Campus.
Students from the University of New England (UNE) Tangier and the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, Tetouan (FLSHT) came together to launch this cross-cultural program designed to foster dialogue, creativity, and collaboration. The event featured engaging presentations and thought-provoking discussions on culture, identity, and innovation. Students also had the opportunity to learn from one another’s presentations and share valuable insights shaped by their diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
The Lab extends its heartfelt thanks to the organizers and faculty members — Professors Ikram Bentalha and Abdelrahim El Ouahabi from UNE and Professors Karim Bejjit and Brahim Barhoun from FLSHT — for their efforts in making this launch a truly meaningful and inspiring start.
