Dr. Belmir’s seminar provided an insightful overview of the intersections between artificial intelligence (AI) and intellectual property (IP) law. He explored how AI technologies challenge traditional notions of authorship, creativity, and ownership, prompting scholars and policymakers to rethink legal and ethical frameworks. The presentation also emphasized the relevance of these debates to researchers in the humanities, highlighting how AI’s rise reshapes epistemological and methodological approaches across disciplines.
The discussion invited doctoral candidates to reflect critically on emerging technological paradigms and their implications for research ethics and academic innovation, reinforcing the Lab’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on contemporary global issues.
