On Friday, June 17, 2022, the Department of English Language and Literature, in collaboration with Abdelmalek Essaadi University and the Tangier American Legation Institute for Moroccan Studies (TALIM), had the distinct pleasure of hosting an insightful discussion with esteemed historian and author Meredith Hindley. The event, held at the historic American Legation, centered on her acclaimed book, Destination Casablanca: Exiles, Espionage, and the Battle for North Africa in World War II.
