Brahim Barhoun is a Professor of English Studies in the Department of English Language and Literature at Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Tétouan, Morocco. He holds a PhD in the Literature of English-speaking Countries from the Complutense University of Madrid, and his research interests include postcolonial literature, narrative identity, migration, magical realism, and gender representations, with a focus on African and Arab literary contexts. He is currently the Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Studies in English Language, Culture & Literature MA Program and Vice Director of the Linguistic, Literary, Cultural & Interdisciplinary Studies Research Lab. In addition, Brahim Barhoun serves as Editor-in-Chief and Publications Director of the Confluence Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles published in national and international journals.
